Under the patronage of the respected President of the University of Babylon, Dr. Qahtan Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Rafid Abdul Amir Mubarak, the Women's Empowerment Unit at the college held a lecture on "Negative Phenomena Experienced by Girls and Women." The lecture was delivered by Dr. Fadel Abbas Al-Jubouri, the head of the Babylon National Association for Human Rights. The attendees were introduced to a number of these phenomena, including violence, its causes, and the role of the law in reducing cases of violence. The types of violence and the phenomenon of harassment were also discussed, and some legal materials were presented to confront cases of harassment.
